Year 4 Camp - Term 1 2025

Our Year 4 students took part in an unforgettable overnight camp at AFL Max, where the focus was not just on fun and games—but also on mental health, wellbeing, and working together.

From the moment we arrived, the students were immersed in activities designed to get them moving, thinking, and connecting. Across four exciting quarters over two days, they participated in a variety of physical games and team challenges that helped build resilience, communication skills, and confidence. With support from the incredible Team Max leaders, students explored how staying active and working together can have a positive impact on their mental wellbeing.

Whether it was running through obstacle courses, strategising in team games, or simply encouraging their peers, students practised kindness, perseverance, and a growth mindset every step of the way. There were also plenty of opportunities for laughter and connection during free play, shared meals, and a cosy movie night before bedtime.

Some of the biggest highlights? The thrilling Leap of Faith jump pushed students out of their comfort zones, the bouldering wall challenged their strength and focus, and the wipeout zone brought endless laughs!

Day two wrapped up with more fun and reflection as students packed up with tired legs, full hearts, and a better understanding of how to take care of themselves and each other—both on and off the field.

We’re so proud of our Year 4 campers for embracing every challenge with enthusiasm and heart. What a wonderful way to learn, grow, and support each other!
